PARYAVARAN DARSHAN

This is to announce the launch of PARYAVARAN DARSHAN, a mass media program to generate, spread and encourage participatory efforts of the general public in improving the overall environmental quality. The above TV program is proposed to reach out to millions in the Country through Doordarshan's 18 Regional Kendras and one National Channel. The weekly program will showcase good environmental practices in various cities/towns across the Country in the local language covering local issues for example viz. solid waste management, sewage management, plastic in garbage, auto emissions, water conservation, green belt etc.
