Consent Management

1) Consent under Water Act 1974

Anybody discharging effluent is required to obtain Consent under Water Act.

2) Consent under Air act 1981.

Anybody discharging Air emission is required to obtain Consent under Water Act.

AUTHORIZATION

3) Hazardous Waste (Management & Handling ) Transboundary Rules 2008.

Any unit generating Hazardous Waste as per schedules required to obtain authorization.

4) Bio-Medical Waste (Management & Handling ) Rules 1998.

Any unit generating Bio Medical Waste as per schedules required to obtain authorization.

5) Municipal Solid Waste (Management & Handling ) Rules 2000.

Any Municipal Corporation/ Local Body generating Municipal solid waste is required registration from the board and to apply for Consent under water and Air Act.

REGISTRATION

6) Plastic Waste (Management and Handling)Rules,2011

Any Unit manufacturing plastic carry bags/multilayer plastics is required registration from the Board and to apply for Consent under water/Air Acts.

RETURNS

7) Noise Pollution Rules 2000.

DG Set Owners are required to provide Acoustic chamber and to comply the standards.

8) Batteries (Management and Handling) Rules, 2001.

The Authorized Dealers and Sales Shop handling waste automobile batteries are required to file returns to the Board and to be registered with Board.
